Pusha T wants Tyler, The Creator to play him in a Clipse biopic

Pusha T has revealed that he wants Tyler, The Creator to be cast as him if a Clipse biopic is ever made.

The Virginia rapper made the comments during a Reddit AMA session, going into detail about why he feels the Odd Future rapper is the perfect choice.

“If I had to have somebody play me, it would definitely be Tyler, The Creator,” he said on December 2nd. “I think he really dives into character well. You can tell through his videos, he dives into character really well with his different themes through his albums.”

He continued, “I think he could play Pusha T. I think he could. And the climax scene is gonna be just him killing all the competition. All of ’em, everybody. Be the last man standing, walking off into the sunset.”

Considering Pusha once crowned Tyler the biggest Clipse fan of all time, it’s not out of the realm of possibility, especially after acting in Marty Supreme alongside Timothée Chalamet.

“As a fan of the discography, Tyler is the number one Clipster,” he told Apple Music’s Ebro Darden. “He can tell me things about albums and the time periods and everything, from production to raps, when it comes to Clipse albums.”

Tyler recently collaborated with Clipse on ‘P.O.V.’, which appeared on the duo’s reunion album, Let God Sort Em Out. He also teamed up with Pusha in 2011 on ‘Trouble on My Mind’ from Fear of God II: Let Us Pray.

Malice also spoke about what he’d want to see from a Clipse biopic, but couldn’t decide on an actor to play him.

“If a movie was made about us, I don’t really know who could play me,” he said. “You would have to have a whole bunch of attitude and a certain authenticity and genuineness about you. I don’t see people being that real nowadays.”

He added, “As far as the outcome, I wanna see resilience. I wanna see people working through their hardship, their suffering, and then coming out on top and just never giving up.”
