Pusha T thanks Pharell for everything in Los Angeles

During a show in Los Angeles, Pusha T thanked Pharrell for aiding him throughout his career.

They were both born and raised in Virginia, and have worked with each other since back in the day. Along with Chad Hugo in The Neptunes, Pharrell produced Push’s old rap duo, Clipse. It was down to Williams’ assistance that they secured a deal with Elektra back in 1996, and King Push has never looked back since.

Over a quarter of a century later, they are still working together with Pharrell recently producing half of Pusha’s new album, It’s Almost Dry. With that in mind, at the Novo in Los Angeles over the weekend, Pusha decided to show Pharrell some love as he welcomed his special guest.

“Without Pharrell, there is no ‘It’s almost Dry’,” Pusha T told the crowd. “He brought a whole different dynamic to my album, Man I love you, bro, for everything, always. You brought me in this game, you taught me everything! Everything! Clothes, dressing, what you want? You did it. Real shit, no lie.”

In response, Pharrell said: “Man, I am just so proud of my brother. He’s been doing this for over 20-years. Number one album in the country. Everybody has been talking about it, y’all know this is the best one.

“Thank you for being so supportive all these years. And you gotta know when it comes to real masterpieces, when you know you really got one, that’s the thing you say, ‘its almost dry,’.”
