Pusha T made a surprise appearance at Phoenix concert in Paris

Former G.O.O.D. Music rapper Pusha T recently made a surprise appearance at a Phoenix concert in Paris. Both artists were booked to perform separately at the We Love Green festival in the French capital. However, the two decided to deliver a joint set briefly.

The French French pop-rock band invited the Virginia musician to aid them in performing a rendition of their legendary 2000 song ‘Funky Squaredance’. While performing alongside the outfit, Pusha also joined them in playing ‘All Eyes On Me’ from Phoenix’s 2022 album, Alpha Zulu.

Phoenix recently released an official remix for their 2022 track ‘After Midnight’ featuring the American vocalist Clairo. Speaking about the singer, the band’s frontman Thomas Mars, revealed, “We’ve loved Claire since day one, “What a treat it was to have her sing with us!”

Although Pusha T has made a recent appearance in Paris, the former Clipse emcee was supposed to be embarking on a UK and European tour. However, he recently postponed the series of events for a second time. According to Pusha, the postponement was due to “production issues”.

Last year the rapper released his critically acclaimed album, It’s Almost Dry. Executively produced by Kanye West and 88-Keys, the album was released in April through G.O.O.D. Music. However, following Kanye West’s anti-semitic meltdown, Pusha was forced to cut ties with the label.

The Virginia act took to Instagram to address his cancellation, posting, “Apologies to my European family, but I have to shift my European tour dates due to production issues. “After the overwhelming demand and sellouts, it breaks my heart. We can’t deliver the show we envisioned within the original timeframe, and you all deserve the full ‘It’s Almost Dry’ experience.”
