Pusha T joins Pharrell Williams at Louis Vuitton for new role

Pusha T and Pharrell Williams have worked together on a number of previous occasions in music, but now, their creative partnership is stretching beyond the world of sound and entering fashion as Pusha T has joined Louis Vuitton for a brand new role.

On July 8th, it was announced that Pusha T would be joining Louis Vuitton as its newest brand ambassador. He will join the luxury fashion house after Pharrell began serving as the creative director of menswear in June 2023, in a bid to bring more creativity to the brand.

Louis Vuitton shared a statement about how excited they were for the partnership to begin, stating, “Their shared history promises dynamic future avenues of expression and further affirms the maison’s ambassadorial circle to be those forging today’s contemporary landscape across industries and fields.”

The luxury fashion house continued, “His ambassadorial nomination at Louis Vuitton is a testament to his commitment to artistry and a strong personal style, both echoing the maison’s own dedication to unique expression across fashion and culture.”

The brand shared their desires to work with different cultural influences to heighten their storytelling ability and quality, explaining, “Pusha T’s role as house ambassador underscores Louis Vuitton’s vision of bringing together diverse cultural influences to build powerful storytelling within its storied menswear universe.” Louis Vuitton continued, “The Maison looks forward to this exciting collaborative journey ahead.”

To kickstart the new partnership, Pusha T has starred in a new ad campaign in which he models recent clothing by the brand. This isn’t the first time that the rapper has sported the clothing of Louis Vuitton, as he previously walked the runway at the Spring/Summer Men’s 2025 fashion show in Paris alongside No Malice. The duo known as Clipse debuted a new song on the runway entitled ‘Birds Don’t Sing’.

The new song features John Legend and is a glimpse into the new Clipse album, which has been produced entirely by Pharrell. This marks their first album since 2009. The newest single sees the duo get introspective as they reflect on the loss of their parents, who passed away within six months of one another. It’s certainly a diversion from the Clipse music released in 2009, but seeing Pusha T and No Malice working together is still exciting.

This remains a developing story as we wait to see what work Pusha T does for Louis Vuitton, nevertheless, it’s exciting to see his and Pharrell’s creative partnership progress beyond music.
