Post Malone announces a new album ‘Austin’

Post Malone has recently announced that he will soon be releasing his fifth studio album, Austin. Currently in the process of putting out his singles with their respective visuals, Malone (real name Austin Post) is providing listeners with this body of work as a follow-up to Twelve Carat Toothache, which landed on streaming platforms in June of last year.

Taking to Twitter to let his fans know about his upcoming project, Post’s tweet read, “Proud to announce my new album titled Austin dropping on July 28th. This whole deal has been one of the most challenging, rewarding, and exciting records I’ve worked on. I feel it captures who I am as a man and as an artist in this moment. Thank y’all so much for your patience, and thank you for being there with me in my hardest times. I love y’all so much and am ready to fucking party with y’all. Cheers, and keep spreading love.”

As well as tweeting his experience of making the album, the ‘White Iverson’ musician also previewed the project’s artwork. Furthermore, he took to Instagram to give an in-depth description of what fans can expect, proclaiming, “It’s been some of the funnest music, [and] some of the most challenging and rewarding music. For me, at least. [I’ve been] trying to really push myself and really do some cool stuff.”

The California emcee continued, “I played guitar on every song on the record, and it was a really, really fun experience. I’m super, super excited to share it with you.” Malone recently released a single entitled, ‘Chemical’, and the lyricist has assured fans that it will feature on the upcoming project. He has also prepped fans for another release, a track named ‘Mourning’, that will be available from May 19th. Currently, Post is touring Europe, performing his 2022 hits from Twelve Cart Toothache and his classics such as ‘Rock Star’ and ‘White Iverson’.

As well as a new project, his North American fans can expect to see him as he has also confirmed that he will be back on tour in the US and Canada this summer for his ‘If Y’all Weren’t Here, I’d Be Crying Tour’. The LA artist has even admitted that some of his new singles will be added to the setlist for his North America tour. Post told his fans that they can expect “some cool new production, new songs, and a very, very handsome man up on stage.”
