Offset shares updates about his new album

Former Migos rapper and Atlanta legend Offset has recently shared some new information with fans about the specifics of his upcoming album, Set It Off. The emcee has been teasing the project with his followers for a long time and has finally unveiled some new information concerning the album.

Offset (real name Kiari Cephus) previously hinted that the project would be released around October 13th but has, only now, finally given fans confirmation that this will indeed be the official release date. The album’s title was also a mystery until recently.

As well as revealing the new album’s title and release date, Offset also unveiled the project’s exciting cover art, which shows the emcee hanging upside down in orbit over a city street ablaze with fire. This latest project from Cephus is the follow-up to his debut full-length solo album, Father of 4 which he released in 2019.

On September 15th, the Atlanta lyricist is preparing to release a brand new suingle entitled ‘Fan.’ It will also be accompanied by visuals which the icon previewed on his Instagram to get listeners excited.

Set It Off is set to feature a plethora of A-list features including verses from the likes of Latto, Future, Chloe Bailey, and more. Cephus even appeared to confirm that his highly-anticipated unreleased track with Travis Scott may appear on the LP, reportedly titled ‘Too Upset.’

The forthcoming album will also potentially boast a the last song Offset ever recorded alongside his late Migos counterpart, Takeoff. In a recent interview, Offset described the project as him coming into his own as a solo artist and showing both his creativity and versatility. Elaborating on this, Offset stated, This is me going full-fledged into my solo career. The objective is to do it fully and smash sht and fck the game up as a solo artist.”

He concluded, “I’m coming through, bustin’ through the door. It’s all set, my next chapter. It’s my time.” The rapper is yet to reveal any plans about a tour and for now fans are eagerly waiting until October 13th to get their hands on this exciting LP.
