Nipsey Hussle’s children receive millions following 2019 death

Nipsey Hussle‘s children have received their inheritance following his death in 2019.

The Crenshaw rapper passed away seven years ago after being shot in the car park of his Marathon Clothing store in Los Angeles.

According to TMZ, his kids, 17-year-old Emani and nine-year-old Kross, have now been paid out in cash and other assets.

His estate is reportedly worth $11 million and has been run by his brother, Blacc Sam, since he died. Sam was battling with Eman’s mother, Tanisher Foster, before resolving their differences last year.

Nipsey’s ex-girlfriend, Lauren London, who is Kross’ mother, signed a document acknowleding that the money had been received.

Although the exact amount of money is private, both children received 50 per cent of his estate. Aside from money, assets included a 2012 Chevy Suburban, trademarks, and interest in businesses.

YG often discussed money in his lyrics and interviews. Speaking to Forbes in 2018, he talked about being smart with wealth, with his kids in mind.

“It isn’t cool to be in the club spending all of this money, or having cars and jewellery – but you don’t own any real estate? You don’t own a fourplex? If the answer is no, you’re not a real hustler,” he said. “When we can move people’s minds into that space, then we can be effective.”

He continued, “You don’t care about your kids? It doesn’t matter how much money you have if you don’t care about your kids. You’re doing what drug? No, that’s not cool over here.”

A posthumous Nipsey album titled Prolific will be released on August 14th via Atlantic Records. It serves as a collaboration with Bino Rideaux.
