Nicki Minaj to join Donald Trump for presidential summit

Nicki Minaj is scheduled to appear at an upcoming presidential summit alongside Donald Trump.

The Queens rapper has been throwing her support behind the president and the Trump administration in recent months, and it’s set to continue.

The summit, taking place at the Mellon Auditorium in Washington, D.C., on January 28th, will celebrate the launch of “Trump Accounts” in the US.

Trump and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent will be the main speakers, discussing the government’s new personal retirement savings program.

Minaj confirmed her appearance by reposting an announcement of the event on her X account.

“@POTUS and @SecScottBessent will headline the Trump Accounts Summit, broadcast from the historic Mellon Auditorium in Washington, D.C,” the post read. “The summit will highlight the Trump Accounts initiative, providing $1,000 for every American child born between January 1, 2025 and December 31, 2028. “

Minaj will appear alongside other big names, including Marty Supreme actor Kevin O’LearyCurb Your Enthusiasm actress Cheryl Hines, Texas Senator Ted Cruz, and White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt.

Speaking on the move, Minaj said, “The true meaning of paying it forward. Early financial literacy & financial support for our children will give them a major head start in life. In December, Nicki described conservative activists as “the cool kids” and referred to Trump as “handsome” and “dashing.”

She said on stage at the Turning Point USA conference in Phoenix, Arizona, “Young men, you have amazing role models like our handsome, dashing president, and you have amazing role models like the assassin JD Vance, our vice president.”
