Nicki Minaj praises Donald Trump as an “amazing role model” for young men

Nicki Minaj praised President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance as “amazing role models” over the weekend.

The rapper sat down with Erika Kirk, wife of political activist Charlie Kirk, who was assassinated in September, at the Turning Point USA conference in Phoenix, Arizona, on December 21st.

While speaking on stage, Nicki called conservative activists “the cool kids” and described Trump as “handsome” and “dashing.”

She said, “Young men, you have amazing role models like our handsome, dashing president, and you have amazing role models like the assassin JD Vance, our vice president. And when I say that…”

The “assassin” remark was followed by an awkward silence due to the nature of Erika’s husband’s passing.

However, Erika said, “Trust me, there’s nothing new under the sun that I have not heard. So you’re fine. You have to laugh about it, truly. I have been called every single thing, and you know what? God is so good. You let it roll right off your back, and this is what’s so beautiful about this moment, because if the internet wants to clip it, who cares?”

She added, “I love Nicki. She’s an amazing woman. She has a soul and a heart for the Lord. And words are words, but I know her heart, and it doesn’t even matter. And you say what you want to say, because I know your heart and I will not judge that, sister.”

Nicki has aligned with the Trump administration in recent months, delivering a speech at the United Nations in New York. She worked with the White House to spotlight allegations of Christian persecution in Nigeria.

Vance also sided with Nicki in her long-standing feud with Cardi B earlier this month, revealing he preferred the Queens rapper.
