New York rapper loses $200,000 worth of items in Los Angeles armed robbery

New York rapper Bleood was the victim of an armed robbery in Los Angeles last week.

The 21-year-old lost around $200,000 worth of items when his Mar Vista property was broken into on July 10th.

According to NBC Los Angeles, three men in possession of an AR pistol and handgun entered his home at around 4am.

The Los Angeles Police Department say that Bleood was in his home recording studio at the time, but it’s unclear if anyone was injured.

The armed men stole a variety of expensive items, including clothing, watches, and electronics, and escaped through a back alley towards Victoria Avenue.

Bleood is best known for songs such as ‘Depression Doesn’t Explain How I Feel’, which has 3.5 million Spotify streams, and ‘Munni and Drugs’, with 3.4 million streams. Other tracks like ‘I Kno Wat U Did’ and ‘NOGWAPNOLIFE’ also have over two million streams each.

He released his latest project, Protagonist, in May, while dropping a new single called ‘Custo a Burger’ on the day he was robbed.

In the song, Bleood raps, “Bae, you drive me crazy/ Tusi for lunch, yeah, my tummy achin’/ Me and lil’ yrsci just got some cake in/ I been patient, I been waitin’/ 100,000 just to hop in a spaceship/ Frrt, brand-new elimination.”

The experimental rage rapper, who is signed to Last Chapel, is set to go on tour across Europe later this year, with shows in Brussels, Amsterdam, Cologne, Paris, London, Manchester, Glasgow, Zurich, Munich, Vienna, Prague, Warsaw, Hamburg, and Berlin.

Earlier this year, Bleood took to his Instagram Stories to preview a new song that was produced by Kanye West and Kim Kardashian’s daughter, North West.
