NBA YoungBoy’s Chicago concert cancelled two days before show

NBA YoungBoy is currently touring North America on his Make America Slime Again Tour. However, his show in Chicago has been cancelled at the last minute.

The Baton Rouge rapper was scheduled to perform at the United Center in the Windy City on September 24th, but Ticketmaster has confirmed the concert has been cancelled.

His manager, Alex Junnier confirmed the cancellation on his Instagram Stories. In one post, he wrote, “United Center bitched out.” In another post, he said, “Shout out to Joe Myhra at United Center. He didn’t want us to have fun. Scary.

Junnier went on to call out the United Center for turning off their Instagram comments due to disappointed fans flooding their posts.

One comment read, “I’ve been waiting for 8 years man I’ve been listening since 2016. Since I was 12. Never been to a show of his. This his first time coming to Chicago and I can finally afford to go and this is how y’all do us???????”

Prior to the cancellation, the United Center was operating a strict bag policy. “For the NBA YoungBoy show on September 24th, bags of ALL SIZES, including clear bags, will not be permitted inside the venue,” a notice read.

It continued, “We recommend travelling light and only bringing essentials like your keys and wallet or leaving larger items and bags in your car.”

The Make America Slime Again Tour began in September 1st and will conclude on November 12th. He’s already performed in cities like Dallas, Austin, Houston, Los Angeles, Phoenix, and St. Louis.

Upcoming shows include New York City, Boston, Washington D.C., Philadelphia, Detroit, Miami, Atlanta, Las Vegas, and many other locations.
