NBA YoungBoy attacks Lil Durk, DJ Akademiks & India Royale on Twitter

Louisiana rapper NBA YoungBoy often referred to as YoungBoy Never Broke Again, has recently entered an all-out social media battle with hip-hop cultural commentator DJ Akademiks, Chicago emcee Lil Durk and African-American influencer India Royale. Having just announced the upcoming release of his mixtape Richest Opp, the Baton-Rouge musician has created havoc as fans have now realised that the project will be dropping on the same day as Lil Durk’s new album, Almost Healed.

However, the rapper (real name Kentrell Gaulden) followed up his announcement with a savage Twitter tirade directed at Lil Durk and his on-and-off-again girlfriend, India Royale. Furthermore, he even took it upon himself to disrespect Durk’s deceased friends. His comments were incendiary and highly disrespectful, especially when he turned on DJ Akademiks. However, Akademiks happily responded to the vicious string of tweets shortly after.

Taking to Twitter, the rapper posted, “@lildurk you a b*tch & yo nasty a** h*e and it’s shown” He continued, “And @Akademiks you a pure Fat h*e who mouth gone be the reason you from now on (“invalid”) #RichestOpp.” In a series of separate tweets, he fired at Durk’s late friends and at his girlfriend, writing, “@lildurk lol you ever realised you only get a buzz when one of your friends die? Think about it scary bum b*tch you know I ain’t lying ha ha #fact. @indiaroyaltyy tell that p*ssy b*tch he bet not drop he ain’t thang ‘pretty lady.'”

Prior to this most recent outburst, rumours had been swirling that Lil Durk and NBA YoungBoy had resolved their differences. However, the Chicago musician hadn’t responded to these claims, and now it is evident that they have not. Durk has still not brought himself to react to Gaulden’s vitriol. However, Lil Durk (real name Durk Banks) is not the only individual mentioned in the tweets. Recently a reporter questioned the Louisiana lyricist about his conflict with hip-hop cultural commentator DJ Akademiks, to which he replied, “What beef? Who?” The insinuation that he didn’t know who Akademiks was upset the podcast personality, who swiftly responded to the artist.

Taking to Instagram, the media personality (real name Livingston Allen) wrote, “Lol I never thought I see the day my homie diss me cuz his sales low,. This rap game is the devil, lol. Youngboy, I forgive u man. We can get them sales up otherwise… lol. But ok. Capitol Records, I blame u for this… y’all pressuring YB to get some sales he doing anything. Get my boy off house arrest tho. YB the last rapper I thought would ever do some s**t for sales. But damn. Go buy his album it drops Friday… He’s tryna outsell Lil Durk. I still love him thc. Buy his project.” You can view NBA YoungBoy’s tweets below.
