Nas confirms first Mobb Deep album in 11 years
Nas has officially announced a new Mobb Deep album. The Queensbridge rapper took to social media to reveal that the highly anticipated project will be titled Infinite.
The album is set to be released on Nas’ record label, Mass Appeal Records, with Havoc and The Alchemist serving as executive producers of the project.
Nas previewed a new song on Instagram and wrote in the caption, “@mobbdeepqb Against The World #Infinite coming soon.”
In the clip, Havoc says, “We didn’t have no choice but to make ill songs. We really dug deep and was like, ‘Aight, let’s do it, man, with these lyrics, the beats.'”
A new Mobb Deep album being in the works is no secret, with Alchemist speaking on the project earlier this year.
“Their discography is unmatched,” he told The Breakfast Club. “P’s legend lives. He did more than the average person while he was here, and he even left behind a lot of stuff so we’re lucky enough to be working on a new Mobb Deep project.
“It’s me and Hav doing the beats. Nas is involved. It feels great just to hear his voice again. We missed it. It’s a void not hearing his voice anymore.”
Alchemist has produced on every Mobb Deep album since 1999’s Murda Muzik. He’s also recorded collaborative albums with both Prodigy and Havoc, and is responsible for P’s classic ‘Keep It Thoro’ instrumental.
Mass Appeal has been on an impressive run of releases in 2025. So far, Slick Rick made his big comeback with his Victory album, while Wu-Tang Clan’s Raekwon released The Emperor’s New Clothes, and Ghostface Killah dropped Supreme Clientele 2.
In addition to Mobb Deep, new projects from Nas and DJ Premier, De La Soul, and Big L are all scheduled to arrive before the end of the year.
