Mobb Deep recruit Nas, Clipse and more for ‘Infinite’ album

Mobb Deep have revealed the tracklist for their long-awaited album, Infinite. The project is set to feature Nas, Clipse and more.

Infinite is set to be released on October 10th via Mass Appeal Records. Havoc announced the tracklist for the album on September 17th, which shows 15 tracks, with three features from Nas.

There’s also a guest spot from Pusha T and Malice as Clipse on ‘Look at Me’, with additional appearances from Ghostface Killah, Big Noyd, Jorja Smith, and H.E.R.

The lead single, ‘Against the World‘, is the first track on the project, with other song titles including ‘Gunfire’, ‘Pour the Henny’, and ‘Clear Black Nights’.

The album will be the follow-up to 2014’s The Infamous Mobb Deep, and the first since Prodigy’s passing in 2017.

Speaking about the album, Havoc told Rolling Stone, “With Infinite, fans can expect nothing less than the essence of Mobb Deep – the gritty New York sound they know and love, unapologetically true to what we have always delivered, even in a constantly shifting musical landscape.”

Infinite is executive-produced by Prodigy and Havoc. The latter produced the majority of the album, with longtime collaborator The Alchemist also producing four tracks.

“We all felt that at some point in time [we’d] figure out how to let it out to the world,” Alchemist said. “Keep that spirit alive since it’s missing. I had songs with P on it. [Havoc] had some songs, we had some stuff that we mixed up.”

He continued, “Some stuff we had to do beats, some stuff he was already on, and Hav just rhymed. But it really felt good that we put the energy back together and did it the way we were supposed to. That’s how we always did it.”
