Megan Thee Stallion claims Torey Lanez offered “a million dollars" hush money

Megan Thee Stallion has claimed Tory Lanez offered her “a million dollars” hush money following the alleged shooting in 2020.

Stallion has opened up on the ordeal during a new interview with CBS’ Gayle King. Since the incident, the rapper has accused Lanez of carrying out the attack. He has since been charged with assault with a semiautomatic firearm, personal use of a firearm, and carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle. However, the Canadian pleads not guilty to all of the charges.

Last night, Stallion’s first TV interview about the night she was shot in both feet at a party in Los Angeles was aired. “I was ready to go, and everybody else wasn’t ready to go. But that’s, like, normal friend stuff,” she told King. “So I get out of the car and it’s like everything happens so fast. And all I hear is this man screaming.”

She continued: “He said, ‘Dance, bitch’, and he started shooting. And I’m just like, ‘Oh, my God.'” Stallion told King that she was petrified that if she placed a “wrong step”, it could have fatal consequences.

“I don’t know if he’s gonna shoot something that’s, like, super important,” she continued. “I don’t know if he could shoot me and kill me. I was really scared because I had never been shot at before.”

Stallion also told the host how Lanez attempted to get her not to keep the incident private following the attack. “He’s apologising. He’s like, ‘I’m so sorry. Please don’t tell nobody. I’ll give y’all a million dollars if y’all don’t say nothing. I’m like, ‘What are you talking about? Why are you offering me money right now, help me.'”
