Megan Thee Stallion reveals the one artist she’s dreaming of working with

Megan Thee Stallion has revealed the popstar she dreams of collaborating with, and it’s a name that you might not expect.

Since finding her start in the rap world in the late 2010s, Megan Thee Stallion has amassed an impressive list of collaborators. She worked with Nicki Minaj and Ty Dolla Sign on ‘Hot Girl Summer’ early into her career, linked up with Cardi B for the iconic ‘WAP’, and recently featured RM from BTS on ‘Neva Play’.

But there is one pop artist that the rapper dreams of working with: Taylor Swift. During a recent conversation with People, she shared her love for the pop star and shared her wishes to work with her.

“I would like to collab with her one day,” she stated. “She’s a stallion too,” she added, “she’s a tall girl. I love that. We would be so cute next to each other.”

Taylor Swift is no stranger to a collaborative track. From penning ‘Everything Has Changed’ with Ed Sheeran to featuring Kendrick Lamar on ‘Bad Blood’, Swift has her fair share of show-stopping collaborations. Perhaps Megan Thee Stallion is next in line.

For now, Swift seems to be preoccupied with the ongoing Eras tour. The lengthy tour kicked off last Spring and has taken the popstar all over the world, from eight shows at Wembley Stadium to a record-breaking show at Acrisure Stadium in Pennsylvania.

Earlier this year, she released her 11th studio record The Tortured Poets Department, which featured new collaborations with Post Malone, on the opening track ‘Fortnight’, and Florence and the Machine, on ‘Florida!!!’

Meanwhile, Megan Thee Stallion released her third record, Megan, this summer. The album boasted an impressive number of features, from GloRilla to UGK to Victoria Monét. It also produced the Tiktok hit ‘Mamushi’, featuring Yuki Chiba.

Following the release of Megan, the rapper performed ‘Mamushi’, amongst a number of her other biggest hits, at the Georgia State Convocation Center in Atlanta as part of a rally for presidential candidate Kamala Harris. She also stepped in for Tyler the Creator after he cancelled his headline set at Lollapalooza in Chicago.

Megan Thee Stallion has also been touring the new record on her first-ever series of headline dates, the Hot Girl Summer Tour. The tour comes to an end later this later this month, at the inaugural event for Athlos in New York City, a women’s track meet.

Perhaps we will see a collaboration between the two sonic stallions when they both return to the studio.
