Megan Thee Stallion responds to Nicki Minaj's diss track

Recently, female lyricist Megan Thee Stallion has been causing a lot of controversy. Following the release of her single ‘Hiss,’ several MCs have come out of the woodwork to address the allegations she has made.

‘Hiss’ has caused an extreme amount of contention. From Drake to Joe Budden and Nicki Minaj, Megan Thee Stallion (real name Megan Pete) has called out several big artists.

The track heard Pete rap about Megan’s Law, a piece of legislation that forces authorities to make information regarding registered sex offenders available to the public. Minaj’s husband, Kenneth Petty, was charged with a sexual offence charged when he was 19.

During the song, the Houston native raps, “These hoes don’t be mad at Megan, these hoes mad at Megan’s Law / I don’t really know what the problem is, but I guarantee y’all don’t want me to start.”

After the release of ‘Hiss,’ Minaj took to Instagram Live, where the Queens rhymer shared a snippet which heard her rap, “Bad bitch you like six foot / I call her big foot / The bitch fell off I said get up on your good foot” making fun of the 2020 shooting that saw Pete shot in the foot by Candian rapper Tory Lanez.

Minaj later released the track ‘Big Foot.’ However, many have criticised the song’s beat and lyrics, insisting it was a hasty and bad decision that reflects poorly on her. Megan Thee Stallion’s fanbase, named “The Hotties”, has since sent Minaj barrages of abuse.

In response to ‘Big Foot,’ Pete posted a photo of herself laughing on her Instagram Story and uploaded some raunchy images from her video shoot in which she is naked and covered by some red rope.
