Megan Thee Stallion accuses Klay Thompson of cheating on her
Megan Thee Stallion has ended her relationship with Klay Thompson after accusing him of cheating on her.
The Houston rapper began her relationship with the NBA star in 2025, making their public debut at the Pete and Thomas Foundation Gala at Gotham Hall in New York City in July.
However, Megan took to social media over the weekend to call out Thompson for allegedly being unfaithful.
“Cheating, had me around your whole family playing house… got ‘cold feet.'” she wrote on her Instagram Stories. “Holding you down through all your HORRIBLE mood swings and treatment towards me during your basketball season, now you don’t know if you can be ‘monogamous????’ Bitch I need a REAL break after this one .. bye yall.”
Megan later confirmed that she had broken up with Thompson in a statement to People.
“I’ve made the decision to end my relationship with Klay,” she said. “Trust, fidelity and respect are non-negotiable for me in a relationship, and when those values are compromised, there’s no real path forward. I’m taking this time to prioritise myself and move ahead with peace and clarity.”
Thompson is a four-time NBA champion as part of the Golden State Warriors. The 36-year-old joined the Dallas Mavericks in 2024.
During an interview in January, Megan spoke about being in a happy relationship with Thompson.
“I didn’t even know I was going to be in my relationship, to be honest,” she said. “I think that because finally I started being in a better mind space about myself and my life, and I had already been doing a lot of work to heal me. I had been going to therapy, I had a bunch of activities that I started doing for myself; maybe God just opened up that space for me to have somebody that loved me right.”
She added, “This is one of the first times that I’ve ever been just overly comfortable. I’m comfy, babe!”
