Mase slams Diddy on 'Oracle 2: The Liberation Of Mason Betha'

Mase has gone hard on Diddy in his new single, ‘Oracle 2: The Liberation Of Mason Betha’.

The two go back over 20-years, and Mase owes a lot to Diddy, who signed him to Bad Boy during the late ’90s. Remarkably, his last album, ‘Welcome Back’ was released in 2004, and now Mase is back with some home truths that the rapper’s been needing to get off his chest about his former boss.

On ‘Oracle 2: The Liberation of Mason Betha’, which is Murda’s birth name, he lets rip at Diddy’s behaviour following the death of Biggie and accuses him of exploiting the tragedy.

He viciously raps, “Yeah, I’m just a Harlem n**** reppin’ down a Vegas strip with my own Suge, You from Mt. Vernon, n****, Go and rep your own hood, I’m not hating on your Billi worth, Right now, I’m only saying what you really work, You ain’t no architect, You just a n**** who know how to market death.”

In a now-deleted historic Instagram post, Mase called out Diddy and wrote: “Your past business practices knowingly has continued purposely starved your artist and been extremely unfair to the very same artist that helped u obtain that Icon Award on the iconic Bad Boy label.”

He continued: “For example, u still got my publishing from 24 years ago in which u gave me $20k. Which makes me never want to work w/ u as any artist wouldn’t.”

Meanwhile, only last week, Diddy lauded Biggie and wrote on the anniversary of his death: “There will NEVER be another. The GREATEST RAPPER OF ALL TIME. Today we celebrate and honor you king. Love and miss you!!”
