Man arrested at Nicki Minaj’s Los Angeles mansion
A man was arrested at the home of Nicki Minaj after he was caught trespassing on her property.
Police rushed to the rapper’s home on April 1st after someone was spotted on a security camera in her backyard.
According to TMZ, the man hasn’t been named but was described as a white male in a grey tracksuit with a big red beard and long hair.
Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department officers revealed that the man was arrested at the scene of Nicki’s Los Angeles house, with the rapper not home at the time of the incident.
Earlier this year, Nicki nearly lost her $20 million mansion in the Hidden Hills. A security guard named Thomas Weidenmüller won a $500,000 default judgment against the rapper and her husband, Kenneth Petty, in 2024.
The man accused Petty of breaking his jaw at a concert in the lawsuit filed in 2019, with Nicki nearly forced to sell her home to satisfy the debt. However, she avoided the need to do that on January 22nd.
An agreement was made at the “eleventh hour” after Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Cindy Pánuco was close to ordering Nicki to sell her home.
Nicki bought the home in 2022 with a $13.3 million mortgage. The judge was waiting for a Bank of America statement to discover how much she had paid.
“Let’s say there’s no bidder who offers the full $20 million, and it goes up for auction, and they don’t get fair market value, and it doesn’t cover everything,” she said. “If it doesn’t cover what the sale is required to cover – including the judgment, in this instance – then I would use that evidence to help me to determine that.”
