Logic shares new single ‘Vaccine’

Logic has shared his pulsating new single, ‘Vaccine’.

The track comes after the rapper announced his short-lived retirement from the music industry following his sixth studio album, No Pressure, which arrived in July 2020. In June, the Maryland MC had a change of heart and revealed that his retirement is over, and ‘Vaccine’ is the latest effort he has gifted the world.

His retirement still saw Logic continue to make music and, shortly after, he teamed up with famed producer Madlib to form MadGic and release a beat tape.

Now, he’s officially back, and ‘Vaccine’ sees him deliver his lightning speed trademark flow, which is unlike anybody else. Becoming a father has changed Logic, and on ‘Vaccine’, he broadly boasts not about guns, money, or any other hip-hop cliche, but happiness.

He spits on the track, “Just me and the beat got you feeling defeat, I came up on the street now I’m bringing the heat, Yeah you know I got heat, ain’t no need to repeat, I got happiness, ain’t no need to repeat, I got number ones, Got no time for these rappers, I only got time for my son, Him and his momma the one.”

On ‘Vaccine’, Logic also announced the third instalment of his Bobby Tarantino mixtape series. It’s been three years since the last offering, and the upcoming release is sure to get tail’s wagging with his diehards.
