Little Simz to tour North American in 2022

Little Simz has revealed her plans to hit North America next year, as she announces a ten date tour.

The news comes off the back of her releasing the universally acclaimed new album, Sometimes I Might Be IntrovertIt landed at number three in the UK Album Chart and gave Simbi the first Top 40 record of her career. Despite the success in her homeland, she now has cracking America on her mind.

“It definitely was not easy,” she recently told NME about the process of making the LP. “I struggled with it because it is very personal, like having someone read your diary. But I think I understood that this is bigger than me and I know this has the potential to help someone.”

“Above all, it’s me saying my truth and I think there’s great power in that. There’s great strength in vulnerability, so I persevered and I’m really happy I did.”

Before she makes her way across the pond to the States, Simz has the most prominent UK tour of her career ahead of her later this year. It kicks off at the O2 Institute in Birmingham on November 25th, before running through most major cities, and culminates with a two-date residency at London’s Brixton Academy.

Next May, her run in North America will see Simz visit cities including Chicago, San Francisco, Toronto, Los Angeles, and New York. Tickets go on sale this Friday and can be found at this link.
