Listen to Tierra Whack’s brand new song '8'

Tierra Whack has shared her new song, ‘8’, which features on the upcoming Madden NFL ’22 video game by EA.

Last week, Whack returned with her new song ‘Walk The Beat’, a welcomed return from the rapper who hinted at her retirement only two months ago. In June, Whack celebrated her hometown basketball team, the Philadelphia 76ers, after they reached the NBA Playoffs.

However, later that month, everything looked in the air, as she told her Instagram followers she was no longer making music. She wrote: “I quit. I’m done doing music.”

Whack has stayed relatively quiet since releasing her debut in 2018, and her retirement did seem plausible, but alas, she’s thankfully going nowhere. ‘8’ is filled with her overpowering bass that drowns out her rhymes, but it works and juxtaposes with her tones magnetically.

On the track, Whack raps: “If I don’t do nothing, I serve, Really, I’m supеr absurd, Got ’em all dead like purgе, Leave ’em speechless, no words.”

For a track solely made for a soundtrack that needs to be clean, Whack has done a fine job on ‘8’, and her form streak continues.
