Lil Poppa’s jewellery reported missing after his death

Jacksonville rapper Lil Poppa died last month, with his sister claiming that his jewellery went missing following his death.

The Florida artist (real name Janarious Wheeler) lost his life in Atlanta on February 18th, with his death being ruled a suicide after suffering a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

His sister, Orieon, has now taken to Instagram to allege that some of his possessions went missing on the day of his death.

Orieon referenced the location of the incident and revealed that she had contacted the police to no avail.

As a result, she’s asking the public for help in locating the items that Poppa kept in his bag.

“We are asking for the public’s help and attention regarding something very important to us,” she began. “On the day of Lil Poppa’s passing, he had his jewellery secured in his Goyard bag. On that day, the jewellery and the bag has gone missing – and the family still has NO answers. This incident took place in the parking lot of the Hilton Hotel off 285 and Virginia Ave in Atlanta, GA.”

She continued, “The family has reached out and asked questions to South Metro Towing on Moreland Ave, Hapeville Police – but there has been no clear information or resolution. We are simply seeking the truth and accountability. If anyone has any information, no matter how small it may seem, PLEASE come forward. … The family deserves answers!”

Poppa is best known for songs like ‘Love and War’, ‘Eternal Living’ featuring Polo G, and ‘To the Point’.

His funeral took place at the Shiloh Metropolitan Baptist Church in his hometown on March 7th.

Paying tribute after his death, his record label, CMG, said, “He was one of those rare artists who thoughtfully poured his pain, growth and truth into his art. His passion and authenticity connected and inspired fans from all walks of life.”
