Lil Nas X wanted Lady Gaga on his album and Nicki Minaj on ‘Industry Baby’

Lil Nas X has told fans that he wanted Lady Gaga to appear on his album and Nicki Minaj to feature on ‘Industry Baby’.

The latest revelation from Nas X comes after he said earlier this week that his collaboration with Lizzo is “definitely going to happen”. During an appearance on BBC Radio 1’s ‘Live Lounge’, he made the revelation when the topic was brought up in a series of quickfire questions. “I was actually talking to Lizzo a few weeks ago [about this]. I feel that it’s definitely going to happen,” he told the station.

“It’s going to be a banger bop, everyone’s going to love it and [Radio 1 is] going to play it 3 billion times,” Nas X added.

During a Twitter Q&A, Nas X has spoken more about future collaborations with fans who used the hashtag #askMONTERO. One user asked about a future song with Lady Gaga, to which Nas X said, “Yes I actually wanted a song with her on the album but I never finished writing to it & sending it to her.”

Meanwhile, another asked about the song Nas X sent to Nicki Minaj asking her to appear on Montero, which she ignored. He first made the admission on The Breakfast Club but didn’t name the song in question.

However, he’s now revealed it was ‘Industry Baby’ he sent to the rapper, which ended up with a verse from Jack Harlow instead of Nicki Minaj.
