Lil Nas X slams BET Awards after snub

Lil Nas X has taken to social media to share a diss track slamming the BET Awards after they snubbed the rapper.

Last week, Lil Nas X first vented his frustration about the awards ceremony in a series of now-deleted tweets. “An outstanding zero nominations again,” he furiously tweeted at the time.

“Black gay people have to fight to be seen in this world,” the rapper continued. “Even when we make it to the top, mfs [sic] try to pretend we are invisible.”

A few days have passed, but the ‘Old Town Road’ artist hasn’t calmed down, and he’s now blasted the ceremony once more. In a clip posted to Twitter, Nas X lip-syncs along to an unreleased song which features him repeatedly saying ‘Fuck BET’ on several occasions.

Nas X then boasts about the success he’s enjoyed without the backing or support of BET. He sings in the clip, “I put like three up in the Top Ten, And I don’t need nobody”.

Later, he then shared a second clip from the same son which featured a guest verse from YoungBoy Never Broke Again. Lil Nas also went on to reveal the song was titled ‘Late to Da Party’ and told fans to expect the new version “soon”.
