Lil Nas X’s police battery charges to be dismissed after mental health programme

Lil Nas X has entered a mental health programme to dismiss his police attack charges.

The rapper appeared in court on April 6th, with Judge Alan Schneider telling him that his four felony counts will be dismissed if he sticks to his treatment programme and obeys the law for two years.

According to TMZ, the court found that the incident was the result of his bipolar disorder, which was only recently diagnosed.

After leaving the court, Nas said, “[I’m] thankful. I love you so much, and I miss you so much. How do I feel? I feel like [my lawyer is] the best. This my gal.”

As part of the postponement of prosecution probation, Nas is not allowed to possess guns or threaten violence.

Nas requested a diversion in his felony battery case last month after he was charged with three counts of battery with injury on a police officer and one count of resisting an executive officer.

The rapper was arrested in Los Angeles in August after being spotted naked in public.

“All I wanted to say is to my fans, I really love and I miss you, and I appreciate your support so much,” he said in March. “I can’t wait to be back hugging you guys – mwah. You guys, have a good day.”

His lawyer, Drew Findling, said, “He is surrounded by an amazing family, an amazing team of people that care about him and love him. And we’re just addressing those issues. It’s really as simple as that. He’s had a great life, and he’ll continue to have a great life. This is a bump that he’s going to get over.”
