Rapper Latto has made the claim that she was arrested at LAX airport for carrying a loaded gun. Latto had been explaining the meaning behind some of her lyrics on Twitter after a fan tweeted her lines from her collaborative track ‘Boom, Pt. 2’ with Chicago drill artist Mello Buckzz.
When the fan posted the lyrics, “I got locked up in the airport / Goddamn forgot the gun,” Latto replied, “True story!” It was at that point that another fan asked for more details behind the story, and Latto was more than happy to explain.
“Went to LAX w a loaded glock 17 in my Birk got locked & let out in a few hours lmaooo,” she wrote. “Booked a $75k jet to my show in Alabama & still made it on time! No cap in my rap TUH.”
This is not the only trouble Latto has got herself into recently, as she also had to take down a pair of her used underwear from eBay earlier this year after she was told that her listing went against the “health and hygiene standards” of the company.
The bidding for the pants had reached as high as $95,000 before the listing was removed.
