Rapper Ksoo’s father sentenced after testifying against son in murder case

Ksoo received a life sentence in October for first-degree murder. Last week, the Florida rapper‘s father learned his sentence after testifying against his son.

Abdul Robinson Sr was sentenced to time served on November 21st, having already spent 1,898 days in jail following his September 2020 arrest.

He identified his son as the shooter in the 2020 incident and also admitted to helping burn the clothes he wore that day.

According to News4Jax, he admitted to helping his nephew Leroy Whitaker and Dominique Barner escape after the shooting death of Charles ‘Lil Buck’ McCormick Jr.

In addition to Robinson Sr, the getaway driver, Barner, was also sentenced to 25 years in prison and three years of probation.

Ksoo and Leroy Whitaker were found guilty of first-degree murder in the death of McCormick Jr earlier this year and sentenced to life in prison.

Speaking in court, Robinson Sr said, “I would like to show my respect to the victim’s family. I sincerely apologise for my part in their grief. I understand what it is to lose a child because I lost one. And I know some days you mad, some days you’re angry. It’ll never be the same.”

Judge Tatiana Salvador told him, “I don’t think I need to say it, but it will be a condition. You are not to possess any firearm, ammunition or weapons. If you are going to move out of town or move out of state, I don’t have an objection to that. However, wherever you’re going to move has to accept you and receive you, and you have to pay the transfer fee.”

Robinson Sr stated that testifying against his son and nephew was the “hardest decision I’ve had to make in my life.”

Ksoo’s brother, Abdul Robinson Jr, was sentenced to 12 years in October after pleading guilty to accessory after the fact.
