Ksoo’s father to be sentenced after testifying against son in murder trial

Florida rapper Ksoo was sentenced to life in prison earlier this month for the murder of 23-year-old Charles ‘Lil Buck’ McCormick Jr. Now, his father has received a sentencing date.

Abdul Robinson Sr testified against his own son, striking a plea deal that required him to take the stand and confess in the murder case. He identified his son as the shooter in the 2020 incident and admitted to helping burn the clothes he wore.

He was shown dash cam footage and replied “my son” when asked to identify the shooter in footage shown to the jury.

According to AllHipHop, Robinson Sr will be sentenced at 9am on November 21st. He agreed to the plea for a reduced sentence so he could return to his young children.

“I got some health issues,” he said in court. “I got two six year olds and an eight-year-old daughter. When my eight-year-old daughter asked me when I’m going to come take her to the daddy-daughter dance. When she asked me over each year when I’m going to come take her there and I keep letting her down.”

He continued, “Then, my six-year-old son, he asked me when I’m gon’ come to his football games, come take him fishing. My other six-year-old he asking me when I’m gonna come see him. You know, things like that.”

Ksoo was sentenced to first-degree murder without the possibility of parole. His lawyer, Christopher Decoste, stated the rapper planned to appeal the conviction.

“In Jackson-vile, Ksoo was sentenced on lies and deals – not evidence,” a statement read. “The video shows it’s not him. The fight continues. We will appeal.” His cousin, Leroy Whitaker Jr, was also sentenced to life on the same charges.
