Kodak Black has responded to rumours about him using meth. The Florida rapper recently took to social media to shut down a fan in the comments of a livestream.

In the clip, Kodak denied being on methamphetamine but admitted to using it in the past, claiming it’s not unusual.

“What you mean, like, if I must be off it or I must not be on it?” he said. “What you trying to say, whoever the fuck this is? I don’t be on fucking meth. I tried it though. Everybody be on that. It’s nothing, every drug, you feel me? That’s why I had said that.”

Later in the video, Kodak called out people for taking drugs without knowing what’s really inside them.

“Y’all motherfuckers just take shit and not even know where the shit came from or what’s been in it, you feel me? That’s messed up for real,” he said. “Yeah, that’s messed up for real. Why y’all drinking lean? ’Cause everyone is doing it.”

To close out his message, Kodak then clarified that he isn’t currently taking meth. “I don’t be on fucking meth,” he said. “I tried it, though. Everybody be on meth. Y’all really just want to have something against me.”

Speaking to fans on Instagram in November 2024, Kodak revealed he was back on drugs after a period of sobriety.

“Bitch, I ain’t sober. I look sober? I’m never sober, bitch,” he said. “For what? For what? Look at this money. Look at all this cash. Sober for what? I’m too young to die sober.”

Kodak released his last album, When I Was Dead, in November 2023. His last mixtape, Trill Bill, arrived in November 2024.
