Kodak Black disses collaborator DJ Khaled on unreleased song
Kodak Black has taken shots at DJ Khaled. The Florida rapper recently previewed a new song on a live stream with YouTuber N3on.
In the clip, Kodak can be heard rapping, “Fuck DJ Khaled,” prompting a shocked response from N3on in the studio.
Kodak has notably collaborated with Khaled several times. They first teamed up in 2016 on ‘Pick These Hoes Apart’, which appeared on Major Key and featured Jeezy and French Montana. A year later, Kodak was featured on two songs from Grateful, including ‘Down for Life’ with Future, Travis Scott, and Rick Ross.
They last collaborated in 2022 on ‘It Ain’t Safe,’ featuring Nardo Wick. The song appeared on Khaled’s 13th studio album, God Did.
In the song, Kodak raps, “I’m in the cut, uh, scissor, I’m a cutthroat lil’ n*gga/ I been fucking her since December, now her butt been gettin’ bigger/ Nobody ain’t told me I was trippin’ when I picked up the pistol/ Started off with good intentions, how the fuck I turned to a killer?”
It’s unclear why Kodak has an issue with Khaled, but fans on DJ Akademiks’ Instagram post suggested it could be due to his support of Make America Slime Again by NBA YoungBoy, with whom he has a longstanding beef.
Earlier this month, Kodak revealed he disliked YoungBoy’s new album. “I just heard little bruh album, it’s straight trash, I don’t even like that,” he said on Instagram Live. “And I like YoungBoy music but that shit ass tho.”
Last year, he called out YoungBoy for wearing nail polish. “We ain’t with none of that Illuminati shit,” he said. “We ain’t with none of that Lil Baby, YoungBoy, all this gay ass shit going on. We ain’t with none of that paint-your-nails shit. We ain’t with none of that fuck shit.”
