Kodak Black announces new album ‘Kodak the Blessing’
Kodak Black has announced his new album, Kodak the Blessing.
The Florida rapper only released his last project, Just Getting Started, in October 2025, but he’s already back with another album.
Kodak took to social media over the weekend to announce that Kodak the Blessing will be released on June 12th.
The project features a mammoth 26 songs, with features from G Thugg, Shadea Charai, 1900Rugrat, Albee Al, Fridayy, Reese Youngn, Rylo Rodriguez, and Lil Crix.
Sharing the album cover on Instagram, he wrote, “IM FINNA TEAR THIS SHIT UP RIGHT KWIK JUST FWM.”
He later shared a trailer for the album, writing in the caption, “We’re About To Get Real Disrespectful With It. #KodakTheBlessing.”
Kodak’s last album, Just Getting Started, peaked at number 77 on the Billboard 200 chart. Released on Capitol Records, it featured the likes of Pharrell, Chance The Rapper, Gunna, Lil Yachty, and Don Toliver.
His upcoming project arrives shortly after he was arrested twice in the space of eight days. He was taken into custody in May on drug trafficking charges, fleeing/eluding law enforcement, and resisting an officer without violence.
Kodak’s lawyer, Bradford Cohen, claimed, “Law enforcement has targeted Mr Kapri in a constant charging of cases, that ultimately get dismissed, downgraded or thrown out by a court of law.”
