XXXTentacion was a breath of fresh air when he first emerged on the hip-hop scene. A loud, audacious rapper, XXX gave his listeners crazy distorted beats and unparalleled dynamism. With hits such as ‘Look At Me’ and ‘SAD!’, the Florida emcee quickly rose to superstardom.
Known as an emo-rapper and rockstar-emcee hybrid, with his distorted 808s and twisted tracks, Onfroy was one-of-a-kind. Still, during his brief time as a superstar, he was an agent of chaos, to say the least. After Onfroy obtained nationwide notoriety, some of the artist’s criminal foes still had unfinished business with him.
In 2018, the Miami musician (real name Jahseh Onfroy) was shot dead. The rapper was murdered outside a motorbike dealership in the Broward county of South Florida, and four suspects were charged with first-degree murder.
However, one of the suspected killers wasn’t incarcerated, and he is now poking fun and mocking the late emcee’s five-year-old son Gekyume Onfroy. XXXTentacion kept his son out of the public eye. However, occasionally, we see him online learning about the impact his father made while he was alive.
Unfortunately, one video is going viral thanks to a tactless reaction from one of the “Jocelyn Flores” artist’s killers. While Onfroy proudly showed pictures of his dad, the Miami criminal, YMT Boatwright reposted the video with laughing emojis, suggesting he finds it funny he has left the young boy without a father.
During the video, Onfroy’s son exclaims, “That’s my dad!” and asks viewers, “Do you wanna see another picture of my dad?” A voice behind the camera, most likely his mother, then asks the child, “Have you shown me these before?”
Regardless of TMT Boatwright’s pride that he allegedly murdered XXXTentacion, it appears that the late emcee’s five-year-old son is unaware of the tension and mockery it has sparked online.
