Kid Cudi debuts unreleased track ‘Superboy’ live

American rapper Kid Cudi has debuted a previously unreleased track live at California’s ComplexCon.

ComplexCon, a leading streetwear festival, occurred over the weekend and featured live music from Lil Yachty, Luka Sabbat, SoFaygo, DJ Scheme, Favela Worldwide, Killthemessenger, and Quinn Blake.

Alongside the newly debuted track, Cudi played the early song ‘Ghost! and his new song, ‘Most Ain’t Dennis’.

Earlier in autumn, Cudi released ‘At The Party’, a new single from his forthcoming album INSANO, featuring Pharrell Williams and Travis Scott.

In September, the rapper told fans that his new album would arrive in January 2024. According to a previous statement, it looks like it could also be his very last.

Speaking in an episode of Hot Ones in October 2022, the ‘Day ‘N’ Nite’ rapper said he wasn’t sure how long he would continue in the music industry and revealed that he had an alternative career path in mind.

The rapper said he’s “kinda nearing the end on all things Kid Cudi.” Namechecking fellow rappers, including Snoop Dogg, Jay-Z and Eminem, Cudi said he didn’t think he would have the same longevity in the industry.

“I feel like I don’t have what they have,” Cudi admitted. “I just don’t know if I want to do music and drop albums for much longer.”

He added: “I’m really curious to see what else I can do. I was thinking about this, this is like a wacky idea I had years ago,” he said. “It would be cool to one day be a kindergarten teacher. Just do that for a couple years.”

Discussing the rewarding, future-enabling power of early education, Cudi added, “When I’m like 50, for like 10 years was a kindergarten teacher, but infect the youth with that freshness. Then those kids will sprinkle the freshness to the world.”
