Kid Cudi claps back at troll for calling him “washed beyond repair”

Kid Cudi has clapped back at a troll after being called “washed beyond repair.”

This week, the Cleveland rapper came across a post on X (formerly Twitter) that criticised his recent music.

The post appeared to come from a Kanye West fan account. “I respect how Kid Cudi is now washed beyond repair but still shows up and puts out music,” it read. “I’ll never listen to his latest garbage but I respect it.”

Shortly after, Cudi responded to the X user by calling him “ugly” and a “bum ass.”

“Hahaha man FUCK U DUDE IM THE ILLEST N*GGA!!!” he wrote. “NO ONE in this industry can do what I do. Ugly hatin muthafuckas like u been on my dick for YEARS and I’m still here! U gotta learn bro, I ain’t NEVER give a fuck about what a troll like u has to say.”

He continued, “U n*ggas ain’t stoppin nothing. I’m so wash but u just GOTTA tweet about me. Now, bum ass, watch me shine… TOUR NEXT WEEK GET TIX!!”

Cudi announced his The Rebel Ragers Tour in January, which will see him touring North America between April and June. He’ll be joined by special guests such as M.I.A., Big Boi, A-Trak, me n ü, and Dot Da Genius.

The 42-year-old released his latest EP, HAVE U BN 2 HEAVEN @ NITE, in March. The biggest song on the project, ‘REAL ONES NEVER DIE’, has over two million streams on Spotify.

It serves as his first project since Free, his 11th studio album, which was released in August 2025. It peaked at number 192 on the Billboard 200, with his previous album, Insano (Nitro Mega), failing to chart.
