Kanye West releases XXXTentacion collaboration 'True Love'

Kanye West has shared ‘True Love’, which is a collaboration with the late XXXTentacion, and featured on Donda 2.

Previously, the track had only been available to listen to on Ye’s Stem Player, but now it finally has an official release. The song has also been included on XXXTentacion’s posthumous release Look at Me: The Album, which is available on all streaming platforms.

Next month marks four years since X died, and Look at Me: The Album marks the third album to be released posthumously. Following his death, Ye paid tribute and tweeted: “Rest in peace. I never told you how much you inspired me when you were here thank you for existing.”

The pair previously collaborated on ‘One Minute’ in 2018, and their latest joint also features on the new documentary about the late rapper which premiered on Hulu on May 26. However, a UK release date is still to be announced for the film.

Additionally, Ye designed the cover art for ‘True Love’ which includes handwritten notes by XXXTentacion, which were discovered by the controversial rapper’s mother after his death. The notes include: “Am I supposed to pretend to be heartless?”, “Love love love”, and “A feeling you just can’t explain”.
