Kanye West shares 12 more ‘Donda 2’ songs to Stem Player

Kanye West has added 12 tracks to Donda 2 on his Stem Device which brings the number of songs on the record up to 16.

The full album was scheduled for release on February 22nd, but, in truth, nobody was expecting Ye to drop the album imminently. However, much to everyone’s surprise, West has now shared 16 tracks, even if they are only exclusively able to hear on his Stem Player.

The device, which is manufactured by Kanye’s own Yeezy Tech enterprise, retails for $200 has unsurprisingly seen sales go through the roof since he announced Donda 2 wouldn’t be able to be heard elsewhere.

Previously revealing his decision on Instagram, Ye said: “Today artists get just 12% of the money the industry makes. It’s time to free music from this oppressive system. It’s time to take control and build our own.”

After earlier this week releasing ‘Security’, ‘Pablo’, ‘Broken Road’ and ‘We Did It Kid’ on the device, a dozen more new songs have now emerged. The tracks include ‘City Of Gods’ with Fivio Foreign and Alicia Keys, as well as ‘First Time In A Long Time’ featuring Soulja Boy.

Meanwhile, the late XXXTentacion also appears on ‘True Love’ and ‘Selfish’. Additionally, Future, who is rumoured to have executively produced the record, pops up on ‘Happy’ and ‘Keep It Burning’.

Earlier this week, Ye brought the new album to a Miami listening event, and as it stands, ‘I’m Finna Love Me’ and ‘Mr. Miyagi’ remain the only two tracks he aired that are yet to appear on the album.
