Kanye West sells $14 million ranch back to original owners

Kanye West has officially sold his property near Greybull, Wyoming. The Bighorn Mountain Ranch is returning to its original owners for $14 million.

Greg and Pam Flitner repurchased the land from Ye last month after it had been out of the family for six years.

According to Cowboy State Daily, the sale was signed off by Kanye’s wife, Bianca Censori, on September 17th.

The rapper bought the 6,713-acre ranch from Greg’s father, David, and his wife, Paula Flitner, in 2019. Greg said the sale was a necessary result of estate planning.

“A lot of times, the estate plan isn’t fully done until you’re in your 50s,” he said. “And those deals don’t always go the way that you think they might. I was a partner in the ranch — Pam and I were partners in the ranch with my dad and his wife. And so that’s just the way that it went, as far as the estate plan.”

Pam added, “We had a couple different real estate agents who spoke with us who said they had people actually interested in it, but no one ever got back to them. And then they would pull it off the market again.”

Ye put the ranch up for sale after Kim Kardashian filed for divorce in 2021. He still owns the Monster Lake Ranch near Cody, Wyoming, which is 3,885 acres and was set to be the home of his “Yeezy Campus.”

He famously recorded his Ye album in Wyoming, as well as Pusha T’s Daytona, Kids See Ghosts with Kid Cudi, Nas’ Nasir, and Teyana Taylor’s K.T.S.E. They were all released around summer 2018, dubbed the “Wyoming sessions.”
