Kim Kardashian reveals Kanye West played Queen’s ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ while she gave birth

Kim Kardashian has revealed that Kanye West played music from Queen while she was giving birth.

Kardashian gave birth to North West in 2013 as one of four children she now shares with the Chicago rapper.

During a recent appearance on Khloé Kardashian’s Khloé in Wonder Land podcast, Kim opened up about North’s independence starting from the moment she was born.

She stated that Kanye was DJing as she was giving birth, with Kanye opting for ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ to soundtrack the important moment.

“She knew what she wanted since the moment she was born,” Kim said. “She was getting born to the song ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’. Kourtney and I talk about this all the time. Kanye was DJing, so he put on [Queen’s] ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ for the moment she came out. And isn’t it so her?”

Khloé also said she loves the song, with Kim adding, “When I listen to it, I get emosh.”

Kanye previously covered ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ during his headlining set at Glastonbury Festival in 2015. His DJ played the intro of the song before Kanye sang some altered lyrics. “Mama, I just killed a man/ Put my gun up to his head/ Pulled a trigger, now he’s dead,” he said on stage.

Kanye sang with the crowd until Freddie Mercury’s closing lyric, “Nothing really matters,” before moving on to ‘Can’t Tell Me Nothing’.

Just last year, Kanye admitted that North West was the reason why he fell back in love with music.

“This little girl made me love music again,” he wrote on social media. “She asked me to make beats for her. I got back on the ASR Chopped up beats for album and chopped every beat with my bare hand for BULLY.”
