Kanye West has returned to Japan after recent vile online rants

Bully creator Kanye West has been scrutinised ever since he returned to America for the Grammys, and it appears he has had enough as he relocates back to Japan, where he was based for most of 2024.

Hip-hop fans have criticised West ever since he took to social media to call Kendrick Lamar’s Super Bowl Halftime Show his “favourite since Michael Jackson’s.” Following this. Still, he and his wife caused a lot of controversy at the 67th Annual Grammy Awards, and his Swastika-emblazoned t-shirts led to an uproar.

Following the backlash, he has continually faced hurdles, such as being sued by a former Yeezy employee after allegedly texting “Hail Hitler.” West’s wife has also faced allegations this year, such as getting accused of sending porn to a former Yeezy employee in 2021.

Concerning social media, the Chicago producer has criticised Kendrick Lamar for leaving him off his “12 Rap Kings” list, posting comments such as “KENDRICK WAS NEVER KING” and “MAYBE KING OF THE WEST COAST, BUT NEVER KING OF THE WORLD,” as well as dissing Playboi Carti by suggesting on X that his new album is “TRASH.”

Hip-hop seems to have had enough of Kanye’s rants, and, more recently, Playboi Carti told him to “STFU” on X. Furthermore, his daughter’s appearance on a song featuring Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs prompted his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, to begin a battle for sole custody of their children.

West exposed his private texts with his wife in which she said, “I’m never speaking with you again,” and highlighted their children’s trademarked names, writing, “I asked you at the time if I can trademark her name. You said yes. When she’s 18, it goes to her. So stop. I sent paperwork over so she wouldn’t be in the Diddy song to protect her. One person has to trademark!”

That said, it seems Kanye has decided to leave all of the mess he has created at home in the past. He clearly wants to return to his more reclusive life in Tokyo alongside his wife. It has been reported that the musician left Los Angeles late last week to catch a flight to Tokyo. Many don’t know when he will return, given his many unresolved problems at home.
