Kanye West makes distressing claim about Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs
Kanye West has been supporting Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs during his many tirades on X (formerly known as Twitter) this year. Over the weekend, his position was unchanged by making a distressing comment about Combs, considering his current legal situation.
Combs is facing charges of racketeering, sex trafficking by force and transportation for purposes of prostitution after being arrested and indicted in the Southern District of New York in September. He’s detained at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn after being denied bail three times, with his trial set to begin on May 5th.
In a since-deleted post on March 1st, Kanye wrote on his X timeline, “Puff Daddy my hero. This man was really having his way.” Ye’s choice of words in “having his way” is bizarre considering the indictment against Combs, which alleges he “abused, threatened, and coerced women and others around him to fulfil his sexual desires, protect his reputation and conceal his conduct.”
Combs is accused of creating a “criminal enterprise whose members and associates engaged in, and attempted to engage in, among other crimes, sex trafficking, forced labour, kidnapping, arson, bribery and obstruction of justice”.
Kanye called for Combs’ freedom last month, calling his imprisonment “woke shit” and alleging white people are attempting to make an example out of the Bad Boy founder.
“FREE PUFF,” he said. “ALL THESE CELEBRITY N*GGAS AND BITCHES IS PUSSY YALL A WATCH OUR BROTHER ROT AND NEVER SAY SHIT. FUCK ALL THAT WOKE SHIT N*GGAS ADDICTED TO COMPLAINING DO SOMETHING. WE ALL WATCHED THEM TRY TO CANCEL CHRIS BROWN AND AINT NOBODY DO NOTHING I WAS PUSSY THEN TOO CHRIS BROWN ITS TIL THE WHEELS FALL OFF.”
He continued, “PUFF GET ONE CALL A MORNING. JUST FOR CLARITY THEY TYRING TO MAKE AN EXAMPLE OUT OF PUFF ME AND MY BROTHER HAD OUR ISSUES BUT THESE WHITE PEOPLE TRYING TO USE PUFF TO SCARE N*GGAS IM NEITHER SCARED NOR BRAVE THIS JUST ME.”
Ye also claimed that Combs isn’t allowed to make or collect money while in prison, so he was planning on sending money to his son, Justin. The Chicago rapper added, “PUFF WE LOVE YOU.”
