Kanye West buys new Beverly Hills mansion for $35 million
Despite the recent reports of him wanting to move Japan and drifting away from his children and ex-wife in Calabasas, it has been alleged that Kanye West has purchased a new $35million mansion in the luxury neighbourhood of Beverly Hills.
Earlier this year, the Vultures creator found himself in another problematic financial predicament as he struggled to sell one of his properties. West was desperate to sell his $57.3million mansion in Malibu and in August ended up selling it at a loss to Belwood Investments for $21million.
However, this led many fans to assume that the ‘Power’ emcee was looking to move out of California and widen his horizons after a painful divorce. Furthermore, Ye fans assumed he wanted he a clean break following the fallout from the manic episode he displayed at the end of 2022.
That said, his latest move to purchase a property in Malibu is confusing yet simultaneously exciting for fans as he moves closer to other artists in the US with whom he may collaborate.
According to reports obtained by hip-hop media outlet TMZ, the mansion is 20,000 square feet, with 11 bedrooms and 18 bathrooms. It sits on a seven-acre plot of land and is in the gated community of Beverly Park North.
The property reportedly even has an entertainment pavilion a tennis court, and a pool with cascading waterfalls. The mansion was supposedly bought in an off-market deal under the same limited company that he used to sell his Malibu mansion.
As it is a gated community in Los Angeles, unsurprisingly, other celebrities have lived in the neighbourhood over the years, including Mark Wahlberg, Sylvester Stallone, Eddie Murphy, Denzel Washington, Rod Stewart, Justin Bieber, Magic Johnson and Sofia Vergara.
Despite this news, fans are still shocked as it had been reported that Kanye was almost certainly moving permanently to Tokyo due to his ability to walk around without constant pressure from the paparazzi.
West moving to Beverly Hills allows him to be close to his children. It was recently alleged by a source close to People magazine that Kim Kardashian is “pretty much a single mom,” and claimed that West is “not around.”
Detailing how much work Kardashian has to juggle, the source expressed, “Kanye is sadly not around very much. She’s pretty much a single mom. Although she has help, it’s still a lot of work for her to balance and coordinate everything.”
Furthermore, according to the exclusive report, Kardashian can’t even have a love life due to her dedication. Speaking on the star’s timetable, the source continued, “Kim’s life is around her kids’ schedules. When they are in school, she works. When they are off, she’s very much focused on being a mom. She is not even dating anyone now. It’s all about work and the kids.”
