Kanye West allegedly asked employee to investigate the Kardashians
A former Kanye West employee who allegedly held the role of Director of Intelligence has sued the emcee and producer after the musician asked him to perform a number of alleged illegal activities. According to the former worker, who is identified only as John Doe in the court documents, Ye allegedly asked him to investigate the Kardashians for “sex trafficking.”
Furthermore, Ye also allegedly tasked him with hiring private investigators to stalk his wife while she was in Australia. The John Doe has also claimed that West verbally attacked him in May after he passed a report of child abuse from a concerned teacher to the head of Kanye’s Donda Academy.
According to the plaintiff’s lawsuit, after he sent the report of child abuse up the chain, West came up to him and allegedly screamed, “You’re fucking dead to me!” The document claims that West then played a “recording of scary voices” and threatened to physically harm the claimant.
This latest lawsuit filed against Ye alleges that working for the Graduation creator caused emotional distress, severely affected his mental health and caused his prior PTSD from military service to resurface, leading to panic attacks and constant anxiety. It is detailed that West hired the plaintiff in December 2022 as a Deputy Campaign Director and was later moved to director of intelligence. A part of the claim reads, “John Doe was also tasked by Ye with investigating the Kardashian family and supposed various criminal links Ye believed they had with criminal enterprises, including alleged sex trafficking.”
The filing even alleges that drug use is to blame for West’s behaviour. Earlier this year, droves of employees were driven out of the company, and the plaintiff suggests that Kanye was acting erratically due to a nitrous oxide addiction he fell into after his decision to get“titanium teeth.”
Doe is represented by attorneys Neama Rahmani and Ronald Zambrano. The suit was filed in Los Angeles’ Superior Court.
