Jay-Z makes surprise cameo on new Kanye West album 'Donda'

Jay-Z has made a shocking appearance on Kanye West’s new album, Donda.

It’s been ten years since they released their joint album, Watch The Throne, but the two rappers fell out soon after, and now they are back on their throne. Last year, West hinted he wanted to fix their friendship when he tweeted a video of the pair performing ‘Otis’ at the 2011 MTV VMAs with the caption, “Miss my bro… real talk.”

“Man, you know I ain’t talked to my brother in thousands, or like, nine years or something like that,” Kanye said in an interview about his relationship with Jay last year. He added: “And the fact we ain’t talked in so long, that’s how you know we’re real brothers. Because unfaithful ones can be mad at you and still pull up cos they getting the cheque.”

Kanye infamously called Jay out on stage in 2016 for cutting him off after he began his relationship with Kim Kardashian. Ye also later filed a lawsuit at Hova’s streaming service, TIDAL.

Jay-Z responded in 2017 on his album, 4:44, when he rapped, “You dropped outta school, you lost your principles”.

Last night, Kanye previewed his new album at the Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta and brought the crowd to a standstill when they heard Jay-Z’s feature.

“Donda, I met your baby when I touched that throne, I told him to stop all that red cap we going home, Not be with all of these sins cast the stones,” Jay-Z raps. “This might be the return of the throne. HOVA and Yeezus, like Moses and Jesus.”
