Jay-Z announces new shows in Paris and Los Angeles
Jay-Z has announced that he’ll be performing shows in Paris and Los Angeles later this year.
Hov headlined Roots Picnic last month and is set to perform three times at Yankee Stadium in the Bronx, New York City, in June.
Now, the legendary rapper has revealed that he’ll be throwing concerts in Paris and Los Angeles as part of his JAY-Z 30 shows.
He’s set to perform at Stade de France on September 10th, before returning to the US with a show at SoFi Stadium on October 23rd.
Pre-sale tickets for both the Paris and Los Angeles concerts will go live on June 11th at 10am local time.
Hov’s upcoming New York shows will see him perform some of his classic albums in full. The first show, scheduled for July 10th, will celebrate 30 years of his debut album Reasonable Doubt, which was released in 1996.
Then, the following day, on July 11th, he will celebrate 25 years of his The Blueprint album, following its release in 2001. Due to “unprecedented demand,” he announced a third show for July 12th, described as an “extra innings” concert.
Jay-Z’s performance at Roots Picnic in Philadelphia was his first concert in almost a decade, marking his return to the stage following a December 2017 show in Inglewood, California, as part of his 4:44 Tour.
Taking place on May 30th, the headline set saw him perform many classic songs such as ‘U Don’t Know’, ‘Dirt Off Your Shoulder’, ‘Never Change’, ‘Feelin’ It’, ‘Dead Presidents’, ‘Roc Boys’, and many others.
Special guests on the night included Bilal, Jazmine Sullivan, Memphis Bleek, Beanie Sigel, Peedi Crakk, Freeway, Young Gunz, and Meek Mill.
