The legendary entrepreneur, record producer, actor and singer Jamie Foxx was recently denied entry into an LA club for Cardi B’s 30th birthday. What’s worse is that the embarrassing fiasco was caught on camera by hip hop media outlet TMZ.
Cardi B is one of the hottest female hip hop artists right now, so it is only fitting that for her 30th birthday, she decided to have a star-studded birthday extravaganza at Poppy nightclub in West Hollywood. However, it seems as if Jamie Foxx is no longer relevant enough to just turn up to exclusive events without an invite.
Everybody who is anybody in hip hop was at Cardi’s party. The attendees included the likes of Offset, Tyga, GloRilla, Chance The Rapper, Wale, DDG, O.T. Genasis and others. However, upon arrival, it seemed as if Jamie Foxx was shocked when he realised that, in 2022, his name appears on the B-list, not the guestlist.
It is reported that Foxx pulled up to the club in a white Rolls-Royce and changed his shoes before what he assumed would be guaranteed entry into the club. However, he ended up returning to his Rolls Royce as he was denied entry into the celebrity-filled club.
As Foxx got in his car to leave, a club staff member came to notify the actor that he was, in fact, good to enter. However, already insulted and annoyed, Foxx responded, “Nah, we not good.”
Shaking Foxx’s hand, begging him to change his mind, the club owner explained there had been a misunderstanding and that Cardi would, in fact, love it if he came in. However, by then, the damage was done. Foxx then stated, “It’s all good. I don’t give a f*ck! No, really. I love you, my n***a. It was too much.”
According to TMZ, the ‘Slow Jamz’ singer was denied entry by security at first, not because Foxx, himself, was not allowed in but because he wanted to attend with four or five unknown individuals. You can watch the footage in the tweet below.
