Jack Harlow announces new album ‘Monica’

Jack Harlow has announced his first album in three years.

The Louisville rapper took to social media on February 10th to reveal that his new album is titled Monica and will be released on March 13th.

Harlow posted the cover art on Instagram, while writing in the caption, “Monica. My new album. Available everywhere on my birthday, March 13.”

The 27-year-old previously addressed the album during an interview with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe in 2025.

He shared his ambitions for the project, making it his goal to release something unlike anything he’s shared with fans before.

“You know, I ask myself this all the time. Where is the album?” he said. “It’s in process. You know, I’m trying to transcend. You know, I want to do something I’ve never done, and I’m just slowly starting to accept that maybe it’s going to take me longer than any of my past projects if I want to be, you know, like nothing I’ve ever done.”

Harlow recorded the album at Electric Lady Studios in New York City after moving to the city in recent years.

Last year, Lorde recalled hanging out with Harlow when they were both recording music at the famous recording studio.

“Jack Harlow was working at Electric Lady when we were there towards the end of the record and somehow ended up getting most of the album played to him,” she also told Lowe. “It was a very funny, cool link. He’s such a sweetheart. But he was like, ‘Your bars are… These are bars!’ I was like, ‘Your words, not mine.’”

Harlow released his last album, Jackman, in April 2023. It debuted at number eight on the Billboard 200 chart with 33,500 units in its first week.
