Ja Rule insists he once beat up 50 Cent

Murder Inc. rapper and iconic emcee Ja Rule has recently claimed that he once beat up 50 Cent in a fight they had during the height of their long-running beef. During an odd appearance on the talk show Piers Morgan Uncensored, the lyricist went into more detail about his feud with Fifty.

Stirring the pot, the infamously mischievous Morgan asked the emcee (real name Jeffrey Atkins) who would win in a fight between him and the G-Unit mogul, to Ja Rule replied, “That’s happened already too, Piers. You gotta do your research.”

When Piers Morgan pushed further and asked for a definitive answer concerning who won the fight, Atkins swiftly responded, “I did, Piers.” However, Ja Rule then proceeded to explain that his feud with 50 Cent is a one-sided beef.

Speaking about how he never addresses him these days, Atkins explained, “You never see me say anything about him. I just mind my business, do my business… I don’t do the back and forth.”

The wild claim that he beat up 50 Cent in a fight is not a new one. Ja Rule has previously insisted that he attacked and beat 50 Cent with a baseball bat at the height of their feud in 2000.

In his 2014 memoir, Unruly: The Highs and Lows of Being a Man, Atkins wrote, “50 tried to swing on me, but I dipped, then I hit him with the baby Louisville Slugger. Bam! I dropped the bat. I pulled the shirt over his head. I started catching him left, right, uppercut.”

Ja then claimed he beat up 50 with a crutch he got from someone he knew with a broken foot at the time, writing, “I hit him with the crutch. We proceeded to whip his ass. I was putting in my work. 50 was crunched in the corner. I slammed the big Tannoy speaker down on him.”

50 Cent has insisted these claims are unfounded on numerous occasions. However, it seems Atkins is insistent that he beat up the ‘In Da Club’ rapper.
