Ice Spice has awkward kiss cam moment with NFL player

For a while, it was rumoured Ice Spice was dating UK rapper Central Cee. However, in hindsight, it appears it was simply a promotion tool for the two MCs before they released their debut albums. Still, Ice Spice was recently involved in an awkward kiss-cam moment with her rumoured new boyfriend, NFL player Sauce Gardner.

The two were recently spotted at an Adin Ross boxing match, sitting together as they watched the event. However, Ice Spice and Gardner were seen on the jumbotron kiss cam during the game. Still, when the camera locked in on the pair, the Y2K! creator refused to kiss Gardner and signalled that she was uncomfortable. As such, the pair just sat in place, looking everywhere but the camera in a futile attempt to act like they had not seen it.

The official status of the couple’s relationship is still unknown to the broader public, but it has been rumoured that she first started dating the New York Jets cornerback earlier this year. In fact, many have asserted that the lovebirds “soft-launched” their relationship by posting a picture alongside the NFL star in the Bronx while they were hanging out.

The picture garnered much attention as the pair had never seen each other before. One fan commented, “Spice and sauce,” while another added, “I wasn’t familiar with ur game.” However, it appeared that Ice Spice didn’t want to dispel the rumours and assumptions being made.

Entering into the comment section, the rapper wrote, “1,” and then responded to a direct question about if they were dating by cryptically writing: “GAG.” The indirect, roundabout response indicated to many that they were. Usually, MCs quickly dispel false rumours they do not want in the public domain.

As highlighted last year, during the promotion of her album Y2K!, Ice Sice seemed flirty with central Cee and didn’t refute any suggestion that they were dating until an interview she did with Rolling Stone after her album release, in which she clarified they were merely friends with a platonic relationship.

Speaking with the publication, Ice Spice explained, “We’ve been friends since ‘Munch’ came out, honestly. We’re just twins.” However, the closeness between the two rappers did not sit right with Central Cee’s ex-girlfriend, who came out to condemn the rappers and their behaviour.
